Lost

I had this idea for some time and I´m glad I finally painted it.
It´s a river/stream spirit, though his habitat was destroyed and now there´s a huge factory. Who gave us the right to destroy nature just for our benefit? Or just to take what we need despite the consequences for nature? Yes we did and with "we" I don´t mean everyone, but still too many people. I love nature and everytime a huge forest etc. is cut down something dies inside me. How can we be so selfish?
Well anyway, I noticed that there are many people who care for nature and try to protect it and I think they´re getting more, so I have hope (:

This painting took me about 10 hours I guess, but it´s hard to say.
